NEW: THE SOFFITTO SYSTEM. A CEILING-SUSPENDED COLLECTION THAT USES THE SAME TRACK SYSTEM AS OUR CABLE SYSTEMS
The Soffitto System is a new, track-based, vertically-suspended system for display. All Uprights are suspended from an aluminum track which can be screwed into a ceiling or window soffit at any location. The Uprights have a glide, which keeps the Upright hanging vertically plumb. All Uprights can be slid along the track to any location, or completely removed by sliding off the end of the track for a change in layout. The Uprights and their glides are polished stainless steel. B+N INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF GRAPHIC CUBE | PEDESTALS
Brushed Stainless Steel Cubes that can be used open or with graphic panels.
Graphic Cube|Pedestals are display and merchandising cubes which have the ability to hold graphics on any, or all, of the four sides. B+N INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF LIGHT PLATFORMS
Modular, Illuminated Platforms For Highlighting Product

Light Platforms are modular, internally-illuminated display boxes that can connect together, or be used individually. The simple, open style legs are polished stainless steel (available also in gloss white powder coat). The legs have two sets of mounting holes, which allow them to share two Light Platforms, or be moved inward for a single Light Platform. Light Platforms can be ordered with either fluorescent bulbs, which can be easily changed by lifting the top, or with programmable color-changing LED’s. Fluorescent Light Platforms “daisy chain” their power feeds through a hole in the bottom, so that there is only one cord to plug in. Color-changing LED Light Platforms have individual power feeds.
Light Platforms are 23 3/4 " square white acrylic, and offered in two heights: 9" and 12" (including legs). Using various heights along a run adds interest to a long display. Please note that Light Platforms are for display only, and can support up to 75 lbs. Never stand on them, as they are not designed to support the full weight of a person.

NEW RECLAIMED WOOD FIXTURES
Perimeter and floor fixtures made from reclaimed, FSC-Certified Douglas Fir, Western Redwood, and Asian Teak
This collection includes three species: Old Growth Redwood (revitalized wine tanks from northern California – when the veneers are being sliced you can still smell the wine that aged in the tank), American Black Walnut (procured from from urban salvage in Oregon), and Old Growth Douglas Fir (recycled from warehouse deconstruction – beams are picked from the best, tightest grain). Beyond the unparalleled patina of the aged wood and the hard, straight grains, reclaimed timber helps us re-use and recycle materials that would otherwise be landfill.
The reclaimed timber veneer is recycled, and panel substrate are both FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. The MDF substrate is recycled wood, and meets the most stringent formaldehyde emission standards in the world. The wood is provided unfinished. The panels we procure is FSC Mixed Credit (sw-coc-001962). These choices can help projects earn LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits.

B+N ANNOUNCES TWO NEW ICONIC PANEL PATTERNS: BARCELONA AND CHINOISERIE
Barcelona: Influenced by our recent trip to Spain, this flourish of the hand pattern interprets the ruffles and flounces of the hems, as seen in the dresses of traditional Flamenco dancers.
Chinoiserie: Inspired by the style originated in the 17th century, and which incorporated fanciful imagery of trees, birds, bridges, and temples. Its whimsical origin attempts to imitate Chinese porcelain and the use of lacquer-like materials and decoration.

HOW RETAILERS ARE KEEPING FRESH LOOKS DURING CURRENT ECONOMIC TIMES
B&N President Brad Somberg Weighs In
With the economy showing signs of recovering, phones are ringing again at offices of visual-display companies. But their way of doing business has changed, said Brad Somberg, president of Burlingame, Calif.–based design company B&N Industries and a 30-year veteran of the visual-display game.
“I think money is being infused back into the marketplace, but it is more intelligent” said Somberg, who also serves on the board of directors for trade group Association of Retail Environments. “For every dollar spent, [retailers] are expecting more value for their dollar,” he said.
