| Current Employment Opportunities Sales Director Location: Burlingame, CA Report to: President Essential Duties & Responsibilities -Provide a plan each year to achieve sales goals set forth for B&N to achieve more market share within retail & hospitality fixture industry. - Provide measurable goals for sales people and support them to achieve these goals. -Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. -Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. -Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating. -Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units. -Work with Sales Team to evaluate and identify improvement opportunities and provides immediate and direct feedback. -Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product. -Deliver sales presentations to design, architectural, retail and hospitality companies. -Establishes, builds and manages client relationships at multiple levels with key decision makers. -Analyzes and controls expenditures of department to conform to budgetary requirements. -Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas or proposed client base expansion. -Works closely with Business Development and Account Executives to determine the market potential of new service ideas. -Monitors and evaluates the activities and services of the competition. -Coordinates the development of marketing literature, advertising materials and promotion tools. Requirements -Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred or eight years sales experience with at least five years in sales management or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Sales background in architecture, construction or design is a plus. -Possess effective interpersonal selling, creative, reasoning ability and negotiating skills. -Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions and select and implement the best alternative in addition to communicating the logic behind the decision to others. Director, Project Management Location: Burlingame, CA Essential Duties & Responsibilities -Provide consultative approach with respect to developing, directing, and overseeing implementation -Guide in the development of project plans and ensure communication of roles, responsibilities, milestones, timelines etc. -Develop, expand, document, communicate, implement and monitor success of project. -Develop and track resource allocations, budgets, project plans -Develops and implements strategic objectives of project -Implement systems -Involvement and ownership in process and procedures for Project Managers -Continually defines ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. -Works with Business Development to win new and repeat business -Supervise Project Managers in implementation, time management, and project quality. -Establish specific deliverables for project staffed assigned to complex project/program -Consolidates and analyzes profitability, revenue, margins and bill rates for project. -Ensures project meets or exceeds budgeted financial objectives. -Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies. -Provides senior level resolution to client issues. Requirements -Minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional managerial experience -Minimum of 5 to 7 years of project management experience -Must be an innovative, strategic thinker with strong people management skills -Excellent written, verbal and public communication skills -Excellent analytical and decision making skills -Strong interpersonal, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, and conflict resolutions skills -Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical managers to help them understand pressing issues -Bachelors Degree required. Masters preferred. -Project Management Certification a plus -Proficient in MS Project -CAD and Design experience a plus |
