Burlingame, Calif. (March 5, 2015)B+N Industries is pleased to announce that artist Shantell Martin will be illustrating live at GlobalShop in Booth 2179, Tuesday, March 24 – Thursday, March 26.

As leaders in our industry, we are committed to developing innovative products while striving to keep creativity at the forefront, and are always looking for ways to inspire. A natural extension of our mission involves relevance and making intentional choices to surround our brand with people and ideas that reflect what is of the moment, interesting, and unique.

To that end, B+N Industries has chosen to feature talent that embodies this relevance and we are excited to pair her artistry with our products. Using our System 1224 and Fortina as her blank canvas, Shantell will apply her “trademark black ink” to every inch of white surface over the course of the show. Her meditation of lines; language of creatures and messages will invite our viewers to share a role in her creative process.

Originally from London with a VJ stint in Tokyo, Shantell is currently living out her dream in New York where she recently became a visiting scholar at MIT Media Lab. In between “Drawing On Everything”, you can find her collaborating with high profile designers like Kelly Wearstler, creating displays for luxury retail brands like Joyce (Hong Kong) and contemporary furniture brand Vitra, working on exclusive commissions for private clients, teaching at ITP NYU, or volunteering with some of her favorite Arts organizations.

Shantell has been featured in Vogue, Elle, T Magazine, Vie, Vibe, The New York Times, The New Yorker, 1st Dibs, California Home & Design, MOMA, The Brooklyn Museum, and The Jimmy Kimmel Show to name a few.
